The Service Team was created in 2006 to provide centralized administrative support for advisor teams. The North Toronto Branch has a very strong team with over 10 years experience in the industry. The Service Team is primarily responsible for the completion and follow-up of many administrative functions that traditionally would be done by the sales assistant. This service provides more productive time to the assistant to focus on sales and business development for the advisor.
Listed below are the services they provide:
- Account Openings
- Account Closings
- All account maintenance issues
- Mailing out of documentation to Clients
- Submitting documentation to HO for filing/scanning
- Ensure that all Client accounts have proper docs on file at HO
- Setting up and tracking transfer-in requests
- Journal requests for Securities and Cash
- Issue of cheques to Clients
